medicineQueens Animal Health provides pet wellness care for dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, iguanas, rodents and birds. We recommend annual exams for your adult pets and biannual exams for your senior pets 8 years or older. Regular physical exams are very important to maintain the health and longevity of your pets lives. Often through routine exams our highly experienced veterinarians discover signs of diseases and subnormal conditions in your pet’s health. If those signs warrant further investigation, we utilize the most current technologies to reach a diagnosis. At QAH we offer complete blood analysis, urine/fecal exams, biopsies, x-rays,ultrasound and endoscopy. If necessary, we can also order a CT scan and MRI in our partner referral facilities. Information collected by these diagnostic tools help our veterinarians reveal the status of your pet’s total health and reach a scientifically supported diagnosis. Based on the diagnosis, we formulate a working treatment plan for your pets. Here, our veterinarians’ knowledge and personal experiences come into play! At QAH, we take a whole body approach to manage your pet’s health and believe in integrative medicine by combing conventional and holistic into one. We strive to take advantage of the best of healing in both western and eastern medicine known to us. Our pharmacy carries a full spectrum of conventional drugs from Azithromycin to Zinc supplements. Our Chinese herbal cabinet also stores over 50 different therapeutic formulas. Electric acupuncture and TDP lamps are effectively utilized in managing many chronic diseases. Simply speaking, just like one of our clients put it, “Other vets treat my pet one way, vets here treat my pet three ways, drugs, herbs and acupuncture, and the results speak for themselves!”

We are proud of what our team can accomplish. Here at QAH, we also strive to provide the ultimate client experience and seek opportunities to partner with you regarding your pet’s health care. We are available as a resource to answer any questions, or to discuss areas of concern such as nutrition, behavior and other services offered by our practice.
